Emefiele drags INEC, AGF APC to court over Presidential ambition

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele has finally dragged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and four others before a Federal High Court in Abuja seeking enforcement of his right to contest the 2023 Presidential election without resigning from his current position.

EPL: Klopp names world’s best coach ahead of Man City clash

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has named his Manchester City counterpart, Pep Guardiola, as the best coach in the world. Klopp made these remarks on Friday during his press conference, ahead of this weekend’s trip to the Etihad. “Pep is the best coach in the world. “I think we would all agree on that and it might be a coincidence that it didn’t work out in the Champions League so far. "If anybody doubts him, I have no idea how that could happen,” he said. Ahead of Sunday’s meeting, City lead Liverpool, who have won their last 10 Premier League games, by just one point. 2023: Atiku shares discussion with PDP Southwest stakeholders, ex-ministers

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has conferred with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in the South-West ahead of the 2023 elections. The Friday night meeting had in attendance many party stalwarts and stakeholders, including former ministers. Atiku disclosed that he made a passionate appeal for everyone to work together and return PDP to power next year. “My friends from the Southwest particularly agreed that our party has remained in the opposition for too long in the West. “I’m humbled by their shared belief in my capacity to reunite Nigeria and once again bring the PDP back as a major party in the Southwest”, he said. Present were ex-Jigawa and Adamawa Governors, Sule Lamido and Boni Haruna, ex-Minister Kabiru Turaki, and Business mogul Raymond Dokpesi among others.
