Portable sacks manager, promoter, DJ

Self-styled ‘wahala’ musician, Habib Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has sacked some of his aides.

The “Zazu” crooner, in a video, informed he has relieved his manager, promoter and disc jockey of their jobs.

According to Portable, he wants to give opportunities to the new set of persons to come on board and enjoy all that the previous sacked aides did.

He further warned show organisers not to pay or enter into any agreement with his promoter as he has been sacked.

Portable said: “Let some other persons enjoy. Let me employ new staff; new DJ, new promoter. Let them enjoy like you have enjoyed. Don’t give them my show money oh. Including the manager. Come and sign a contract before you work with me.”

EPL: Mikel Arteta gives reason for Arsenal’s defeat to Southampton

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, has given reason for his side’s Premier League 1-0 defeat to Southampton on Saturday. Southampton defeated Arsenal at St. Mary’s Stadium, thanks to Jan Bednarek’s first-half goal. The result against Southampton means Arsenal are now in the sixth position on the Premier League table with 54 points from 31 games. Speaking during his post-match press conference, Arteta said the Gunners lost against Southampton because his players failed to score against the host, adding that the opponent’s goalkeeper was also exceptional. "[It is] Difficult to explain [Why we lost against Southampton] because this is football, not basketball." "It’s decided in the boxes and for the amount of time we spent around their box we didn’t put them on the goal.” “They had an exceptional goalkeeper,” he added.
