WHAT A NATION!

WHAT A NATION!!!
Not that we came to birth during the wrong time but to the wrong NATION,
A Nation where the leaders turn her dilemma to a means of embezzlement,
Yeah we are locked down but what are we gonna eat??
Yeah we are locked down how are the children gonna learn??
Yeah we are locked down even givers don't have anything to give beggers,
Yes!! Radio lessons for them how many people are aware??
Yes!! social distance is a cure but does that stop us from worships,
Worships that are meant for us to ask the only LISTENER we've got,
To help us find long lasting solutions to this problem,
Is the increasement of the days really the solutions??
The lockdown has turned to something else in our Nation,
It's far beyond COVID 19 but Hunger 19,
Where are those donations going to? Inside whose pocket?
It's no longer prevention but a source for their embezzlement,
COVID 19 giving room for corruption 19 and embezzlement 19,
Even the so called isolation centre has been turned to a brothel,
Whereby the so called victims are sexing each other,
We are complaining about robbery and what are they doing about,
Making it seems to we the citizens does this so called VIRUS really exist in our NATION??
What a NATION!! Where even some citizens are strong believers of apathy as a religion,
Left to me to think about this, I think this is a punishment to them than the so called VIRUS.
Since they and their children are the only one left receiving the punishment,
Or have you heard a case affecting any of the citizens?
Millions of people are starving while the elites are receiving pleasure,
Are we not government of the people, by the people and for the people?
What A Nation!
Every successful nation attaches more importance to the growth and development to its citizens,
Alas! Reverse seems to be the case in Nigeria,
It is worthy of note that our leaders do not represent us, but their pockets.
They are too extravagant, they lavish our treasuries on white elephant projects.
What A Nation! Where Nigerian leaders do not show concern for the well being of its entire citizenry.
A Nation where corruption has eaten deep into the bone marrow of the society,
Alas! Poverty remains a scourge of society as a threat to the progress and well being of humanity.

EPL: Klopp names world’s best coach ahead of Man City clash

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has named his Manchester City counterpart, Pep Guardiola, as the best coach in the world. Klopp made these remarks on Friday during his press conference, ahead of this weekend’s trip to the Etihad. “Pep is the best coach in the world. “I think we would all agree on that and it might be a coincidence that it didn’t work out in the Champions League so far. "If anybody doubts him, I have no idea how that could happen,” he said. Ahead of Sunday’s meeting, City lead Liverpool, who have won their last 10 Premier League games, by just one point. EPL: Erik ten Hag tells Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Man United

Incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has informed the club that veteran forward, Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of his team at Old Trafford next season, according to The Star. The Dutchman has agreed a deal in principle to take over as permanent manager at Old Trafford this summer with major changes expected at the club. Over ten players have been lined up to leave Old Trafford as the 52-year-old Dutchman is asking the club to allow him to control United’s transfer dealings. Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani and Jesse Lingard are among the high-profile names expected to move on. However, The Star now report that the Ajax boss has given the green light for Ronaldo to leave. 2023: It’s North-Central turn to produce president, says Saraki

As politicians jostle for the nation’s presidency in 2023, former Senate President Bukola Saraki has said that it was the turn of the North-Central geopolitical zone to lead the country. Saraki spoke on Tuesday in Jos when he addressed delegates from Plateau ahead of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary elections slated to hold in May. The former Kwara governor, who is among the many aspirants in the race for the PDP ticket, pointed out that the North-Central had consistently supported other regions to lead the country and deserved similar support from other zones, this time. “You remember that before the national convention of our party, we held a meeting in Abuja with delegates of North-Central extraction. “We said to ourselves that for many times and many years, we, in the North Central, have worked hard, we struggled, used our efforts, used our money, used our energies to support other people to lead. “Everybody, who had become President under this great party, go...
