Wizkid breaks silence after losing Grammys to Angelique Kidjo

Nigerian superstar, Wizkid has broken silence after losing two Grammy nominations. Recall that Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ lost in the category of Best Global music album to Angelique Kidjo’s ‘Mother Nature’ His popular song ‘Essence’ also did not win the Best Global music performance. This has generated reactions as some Nigerians queried why the recording academy failed to recognise Essence. But, Wizkid, while reacting via his Instagram page, congratulated Angelique Kidjo on her win. 2023: Fayose resigns from PDP zoning committee over presidential ambition

As the race to the Presidential villa in 2023 gets more intense in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has withdrawn his membership of the party zoning committee over his presidential ambition. Fayose in a letter dated 5th April 2022 addressed to Chairman PDP zoning committee, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom thanked the committee members for their patriotism to the party. The former Chairman PDP governors forum also commended the way the 37 members zoning committee handled and comported themselves in deliberations regarding this sensitive issue. He expressed hope that the outcome will bring understanding, peace and stability to the party and the country at large. The House of Representatives has passed a bill establishing a Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics (STEAM) Polytechnic, Tombia in Rivers State into law. The bill makes the Polytechnic, the pioneer model of education that would equip students with technical solutions to life’s challenges. STEAM is an acronym for Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics. Sponsor of the bill, Farah Dagogo representing Degema/Bonny Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, said, the Polytechnic will be situated in Tombia, Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State. Former Manchester United striker, Michael Owen, has predicted tonight’s UEFA Champions League fixtures. Real Madrid: We’d score triple as many goals – Benzema welcomes Mbappe to club

Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema has welcomed Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe to the Los Blancos. Benzema said he would like to play with Mbappe at Real Madrid, adding that they would score as many goals in the colours of the LaLiga giants. Benzema and Mbappe are teammates with the France national team. Mbappe is widely expected to join Real Madrid in the upcoming summer transfer window. The 23-year-old is yet to sign a new contract with PSG and his current deal will expire at the end of the season. “Yes, I say it often. Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney has urged Paul Pogba to be honest with his performance for the club since his return to Old Trafford from Juventus. Rooney believes it is time for Pogba to leave Man United and look for a new club in the summer.
